ASBMB Students Present Their Research at the 2026 Discover BMB Conference in Washington D.C.
Two undergraduate students from the Ezekiel Lab presented their research at the annual meeting of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) — Discover BMB 2026 — held in Washington, D.C., in March 2026.
Ngan Trinh and Rebecca Carter, undergraduate students at Saint Louis University majoring in Medical Science within the Clinical Health Sciences Department of the Doisy College of Health Sciences, presented findings from their research conducted under the mentorship of Uthayashanker Ezekiel, Ph.D. Both students are DeNardo Scholars, and their research and conference participation were supported by a grant from the DeNardo Education and Research Foundation. In addition, Rebecca Carter received funding through the ASBMB SLU Chapter Travel Award.
